                                    WASSAN reached out to 25 villages to cover 644 hect under bore well pooling through a network of 5 NGOs in Anantapur district. As part of this initiative, 211 farmers who own a bore well are sharing groundwater with 350 farmers who do not have a bore well. Each village has established a local water grid to pool groundwater from 176 bore wells and provide critical irrigation to 561 farmers. Similar initiatives are taken up in RR District, Medak, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Mehbubnagar districts.<\/span><\/p>\n
